Bente Vosteen Awakening a New Era of Presence in Leadership

In an age where leadership is too often measured by performance, speed, and output, Bente Vosteen stands as a radiant counterpoint — a reminder that true power begins not in doing, but in being. As a Global Peace Ambassador for Transformational Leadership, SI Leadership Coach, and Co-Founder & CEO of erlebniswiese – Im Tun lernen und Freude erleben gGmbH, Bente is quietly — yet powerfully — reshaping what it means to lead, live, and create with presence.

Her journey began far from boardrooms and business summits. In 2016, Bente started working with children from refugee backgrounds — young souls from Syria and beyond who had known displacement, loss, and the ache of change. Yet despite their stories, these children carried something extraordinary: a natural connection to life itself.

“Through their eyes, I witnessed an unbreakable spirit,” Bente reflects. “They reminded me of the natural presence, creativity, and connection that we all carry effortlessly as children — and how easily we lose it as adults.

That encounter became her first awakening. But it wasn’t until 2019, when her family moved into the heart of a nature park, that the real transformation began. Immersed in stillness, surrounded by the hum of life in its rawest form, Bente began to remember something she had long forgotten — her authentic presence. “In nature, I reconnected with a part of myself I hadn’t felt in years,” she says. “It opened a profound inner shift. I started to truly feel again.

At first, she continued her work with children, nurturing their innate curiosity and aliveness. But a conversation with a contact from the UAE changed everything. “I suddenly realized,” she says, “that what I was doing with children — helping them stay connected to their essence — was exactly what adults needed too.

It was a moment of clarity that redirected her entire path. Bente understood that for much of her professional life, she had been “leading without presence.” Now, she would dedicate herself to helping others — especially leaders — rediscover the wholeness and vitality they had once known as children.

“When we return to that state of presence,” she explains, “our energy becomes limitless.

From Performance to Presence

Today, Bente’s coaching transcends traditional leadership frameworks. Her work is not about strategies or metrics — it’s about energy, awareness, and authenticity. “Leadership,” she insists, “is not about control or achievement. It’s about remembering who you are and allowing that truth to move through everything you do.

Her vision is bold yet deeply human: that every child grows up never forgetting who they truly are — and that adults, too, can remember. “If we nurture self-awareness and authenticity from early childhood education through to leadership,” she says, “we create a bridge between generations. That’s how we begin to transform the world.

It’s this intergenerational bridge — between childlike essence and mature consciousness — that defines her philosophy. Through her coaching and her acclaimed online course “Presence Creates Future,” Bente guides individuals and organizations in both English and German through a journey of reconnection — not just with goals, but with being itself.

The Courage to Be Real

But this path has not been without its challenges. “One of the biggest lessons for me,” she admits, “was unlearning the layers of protection I had built — the masks that made me feel safe but kept me from being real.

Like many driven professionals, Bente once believed strength meant composure, perfection, control. But true transformation required vulnerability. “Learning to show up as myself, without fear or performance, was both beautiful and terrifying,” she says. “It meant accepting that not everyone would understand — that some might judge or doubt. But when your vision comes from the heart, those voices no longer touch you. They simply exist outside your purpose.

Persistence became her quiet superpower. “There were moments,” she recalls, “when I kept walking even though nothing was visible — no reward, no recognition, no financial stability. It takes faith to keep going when only you can see the seed you’ve planted.

That faith has blossomed into a flourishing global presence. Her clients and collaborators now come from across the world — from Germany to the UAE, from Europe to Asia — drawn by her grounded wisdom and radiant authenticity.

Finding Grace in Global Connection

For Bente, success is not about accolades — though she has many. In October 2024, in Dubai, she received the Medal of Honour and the title Global Peace Ambassador for Transformational Leadership, a moment she describes as one of “deep gratitude and inspiration.

But what she treasures most is the quiet grace of global connection. “After I found my own voice,” she says, “the world began to echo it back to me.

Born and raised in Germany, she never saw nationality as a boundary. Even as a child, she gravitated toward those who were different — guided by a natural openness that her teachers noticed early on. “I’ve always been able to see beyond appearances,” she says. “Even when I couldn’t fully feel myself, I could still see the truth in others.

Today, her clients span continents, and her message transcends language. She now expresses herself in English, studies Arabic, and continues to expand her linguistic and cultural bridges. “I never set out to reach anyone in particular,” she reflects. “People simply found me — and that feels like something greater than pride. It feels like grace.

Presence as a Movement

At its core, Bente’s work is not about teaching — it’s about remembering. She invites people to return to the stillness within themselves, to reconnect with the boundless creativity and clarity that arise when the mind quiets and the heart opens.

“My mission,” she says, “is to awaken a form of leadership that transcends performance — one rooted in presence, awareness, and humanity.”

Through her company erlebniswiese, she integrates this philosophy into practical learning environments — spaces where people rediscover the joy of doing through being. “Learning,” she believes, “should be an experience of aliveness, not pressure.

Her online course Presence Creates Future embodies this principle. It’s not a theoretical program but a lived practice — guiding participants through exercises that bring awareness back to the present moment, where authentic creation begins. “Everything we wish to build in the future,” she says, “emerges from the quality of our presence today.

A Legacy of Light

As the world accelerates toward digital transformation and endless productivity, Bente’s voice feels like a deep breath — a pause that invites leaders to remember the one resource that never runs out: awareness.

She represents a new generation of thought leaders who are not chasing influence but embodying integrity — those who understand that transformation begins within and radiates outward.

Her story, from working with refugee children to becoming a global ambassador, reminds us that leadership is not about titles but about energy. It’s about how we show up — with openness, humility, and love.

And as she continues to teach, coach, and inspire, one truth anchors her work: presence is not something we learn — it’s something we remember.

Because when we remember who we truly are, leadership becomes not an act of power, but a practice of peace.
